Medway images is a useful resource for anyone interested in the history, industry and culture of the Medway area. It contains visual images from the 19th century to the present day from our extensive photograph collections, including pictures of Rochester, Chatham, Strood, Gillingham and Rainham and some of the smaller communities and villages in the surrounding rural areas of North Kent. A selection of photographs from glass plate negatives previously held by the Guildhall Museum, Rochester, have recently been digitised and included and more images are being added on a regular basis.
