Welcome to our local studies image database for Medway.
Our collection of visual images from the 19th century to the present day is a rich resource for local and family historians interested in the history, industry and culture of the Medway area.
Some of the photographs and prints in our collections derive from local government departments, but many others were donated to us, and their provenance is unknown.
This database includes a representative selection of images from the several thousands of photographs and prints held in our Local Studies collection. Visitors to the Studies Centre can view additional images that have not been included in the database due to copyright restrictions.
