Some of the photographs and prints in our collections derive from local government departments, and copyright of these is held by Medway Council. Many others were donated to us, and their provenance is sometimes unknown or unclear. Where possible we have acknowledged copyright, but we are aware that many records are incomplete.
We welcome additional information about any of the images displayed here. Likewise, donations of any images of the Medway area of particular interest and of historical value, are also welcome.

Reproduction of part or all of the contents of this website is prohibited except for individual use/private research. Photographic prints or high resolution digital copies of the images may be purchased from Medway Archives Centre for these purposes.
